About Loomis

Andrew Loomis (1892-1959), born William Andrew Loomis, was an American illustrator, author, and educator. His work covers an array of magazine covers, printed ads, calendars, and billboards. An inspiration for countless illustrators in today’s world, Loomis left a legacy with his well-known series of books written about art instruction and technique.
